I love Duke, but we're outta here!!!
It's hard to believe that 100 days has come and gone, but that is now a reality. As of tomorrow afternoon, Chris will no longer be a resident of Durham, North Carolina. That's right you heard it hear first!! Chris is about to have her catheter line removed, and her last bone marrow aspiration test before heading back!!! The doctors have said that she is great, her recovery is going as hoped, and we will not have to come back every two weeks as we first thought. We have to come up here once a month for a day, and then see our phenomenol oncologist at Centennial once a week.So start blowing up the balloons, throw on you party hats and get the babysitters for your kids because when we get back and the time is right there is going to be a P A R T Y!!! Seriously though we are extremely grateful for everyone's thoughts and prayers and actually we're just grateful for you giving us parts of your LIFE to get us through thism stage. I will keep the Hallmark moments brief for now, but there are a lot of you that we will need to schedule a good cry session with equipped with sappy music in the background.
WE LOVE YOU ALL and the next time we see you it will be in Tennessee.
till the end,
jc and chris
